The excuses that I used for why I drank are embarrassing. But I’m not alone in my ridiculous reasoning and excuse making throughout my experiencing in fighting alcoholism on my own. It is part of the illness that plagues us all.
Substituting the action of jaywalking for heavy and unmanageable drinking may seem a far stretch for some. Not for the struggling alcoholic. In this podcast episode, we dive into a classic analogy that drives home the point of how much insanity lies within the behavior of the alcoholic. Dementia Changes Everything in Your Life
May as well have a theme for this week. If the reader can’t tell at this point, let me be clear. I’m most concerned about potential cognitive decline in my future as a result of my drinking. That’s all I’ve got! All the best,
