Content for loved ones of the alcoholic - why we do what we do
Welcome to another week of the Chapter 3 Newsletter.
We’re wrapping up the big Mental Health Awareness Month promotional push, so welcome to all that are new to the newsletter! Welcome, I am glad that you are here.
The next steps for the podcast and newsletter will be to try to help loved ones of the addict to connect you with why we behave the way that we do. I will also dive into content that opens up the opportunity for someone who is struggling to start thinking about and addressing their potential issues with addiction.

The promotional theme for the month of May is going to be about the actual practices that I picked up in my time in rehab that I believe are the core reason that I have been able to sustain myself on the path of recovery during this trying year.
The third practice of active recovery, is about Vision. I used to have an incredibly visual vision, with a glass of alcohol included. I had to completely alter my life vision in order to be able to move forward on my path of active recovery.
The fourth, and I would argue most important practice that has sustained me on the path of recovery over this past year, is that of Spiritual Connection.

What is AA and How Can it Help Me?
The coming weeks and months in the podcast are going to start jumping into the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. I will actually start addressing all you non-addicts out there, to try to connect you with the thought patterns and belief systems of your loved one who may be struggling with addiction.
Why These Common But Terrible Tips Won’t Help You Quit
The next few podcasts are going to actually be created for loved ones of addicts and alcoholics. You have begged, pleaded, offered your support and advice with no change. I’ll do my best to explain why that is the case based on my story, thought patterns and beliefs.
That’s it! All the best,
Kyle Zibrowski
