The promotional theme for the month of May is going to be about the actual practices that I picked up in my time in rehab that I believe are the core reason that I have been able to sustain myself on the path of recovery during this trying year.
The second practice of a life in recovery that I cover on the podcast is Gratitude and Awe. This practice fundamentally shifted how I perceive life and I know that our experience with Lucy would have been much different if this shift hadn’t occurred for me, even if I stayed sober through the experience.
The third practice of active recovery, and the latest release of the podcast is about Vision. I used to have an incredibly visual vision, with a glass of alcohol included. I had to completely alter my life vision in order to be able to move forward on my path of active recovery.
