I executed the fasted turnaround yet in terms of planning, recording and posting a podcast with this episode. This unexpected situation cropped up in my life, and I relapsed Emotionally, and I felt like I had to capture the steps in action. The 12 steps are often touted as the solution from addiction, but rarely are they displayed in action.
WE FINALLY DID IT! After 23 episodes, we finally have made it to the namesake of this entire endeavor - Chapter 3 of the Alcoholics Anonymous book. This chapter is titled “More on Alcoholism” and its greatest value is to allow readers to hold a mirror up to their own lives to begin the process of making that ever key and deeply personal decision if they are an alcoholic. The power in this chapter is immense, I am very excited to have gotten to the point in this journey with you all.

Pathological Lying
A recent AA meeting that I attended hit on the topic of how freeing it is living a life free of the tangled web of lies. Zach and I covered it in our recent podcast, but the incredible complexity of the lies I had created caused me to put every ounce of effort and creativity behind supporting the lie. It was the most exhausting thing that I have ever maintained in my life.
Identifying Toxic Behaviors In Your Life
Looking back at these types of behaviors, and how they manifested in my life, there is one common thread that ran through them when I executed my 4th Step. Fear. It drove everything and led to these disgusting behaviors. I can genuinely say that the five behaviors identified in this article have been completely removed from my life since entering recovery.
That’s all I’ve got! All the best,
Kyle Zibrowski
